Mike started working with Aluminum in 1967 at Spartan School of Aeronautics where he became a licensed aircraft, airframe and power plant mechanic.

He worked for several years, repairing and rebuilding wrecked aircraft. After building and designing boats for three other boat companies he and his wife, Vicki decided in 1990 to start their own boat company.  Raider Boats only build welded aluminum boats 17’ through 30’.

Vicki’s background is in bookkeeping, collections and exportation/documentation.  She worked for a heating and air conditioning manufacturer for fifteen years and gained a lot of experience in record keeping, collections, exporting products in countries around the world and working with various banks with export documentation.  My working within a management team and production gave me a good understanding of how manufacturing works.

Vicki does the bookkeeping and works with production and sales along with Mike at Raider Boats.
